Ahmedabad – Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express to be extended upto Okha ,For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway is all set to introduce the Vande Bharat Express Train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai Central and extend Ahmedabad – Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express upto Okha.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, details of these trains are as under:
1. Train No. 22962/22961 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express
Train No. 22962 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express will leave Ahmedabad at 06:10 hrs from 13th March 2024 every day except Sunday and will arrive Mumbai Central at 11:35 hrs. the same day. Similarly, in return direction Train No. 22961 Mumbai Central- Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart from Mumbai Central at 15:55 hrs from 13th March, 2024 every day except Sunday and will reach Ahmedabad at 21:25 hrs. the same day.
Enroute the train will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Vapi and Borivali station in both directions.
This train comprises of AC Chair car and Executive Chair car.
2. Extension of Train No. 22925/22926 Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Superfast Express upto Okha
Train No. 22925/22926 Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Superfast Express is being extended upto Okha station. Train No. 22925 Ahmedabad-Okha Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart Ahmedabad at 18:10 hrs every day except Tuesday from 13th March, 2024 to reach Okha at 00:40 hrs the next day. Similarly, in the return direction Train No. 22926 Okha-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Superfast Express will depart Okha at 03:40 hrs every day except Wednesday from 14th March, 2024 and reach Ahmedabad at 10:10 hrs the same day.
Enroute the train will halt at Sabarmati, Sanand, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Dwarka station in both directions.
This train comprises of AC Chair car and Executive Chair car.
