MUMBAI।In accordance with the latest guidelines issued by the Railway Board, the schedule for preparation of reservation charts for Western Railway will be effective from 14th July, 2025. This initiative aims to streamline operational processes and enhance passenger convenience.
According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of Western Railway, in line with the directives received from Railway Board regarding the preparation of first reservation chart the schedule is as under.
• For the trains with departure between 05:01 hrs to 14:00 hrs, first reservation chart will be prepared by 21:00 hrs of previous day.
• For the trains with departure between 14:01 hrs to 16:00 hrs, first reservation chart will be prepared by 07:30 hrs on same day.
• For the trains with departure between 16:01 hrs to 23.59 hrs & 00.00 hrs to 05:00 hrs, first reservation chart will be prepared by eight hours in advance of scheduled departure.
There will be no change in the existing provisions regarding the preparation of the second reservation chart, which will continue to be generated as per the extant guidelines to accommodate last-minute bookings..
Passengers are requested to take note of the updated charting schedule while checking their reservation status prior to travel।
